Siemens Energy & Automation (Alpharetta, Ga.) recently reorganized to expand services and solutions in the U.S., company officials told Control Engineering ‘s editors here.

The formation, scope and mission of the reorganization—including the newly created Siemens Energy & Automation Process Industry Division—is the broadest effort in 15 years at Siemens, according to Oliver Hauck, senior vp in charge of the new division. More than a year in the making, Siemens’ new structure was initiated April 12, and discussed publicly for the first time on May 31, he added.
