Rosemont, IL— The Baumüller Group reports that its DSL 56 motors are better than conventional pneumatic drives because they’re compact, have dynamic response, and offer peak powers for linear motion. The company is exhibiting its products this week at SPS Electric Automation America 2005 , May 23-26, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center near Chicago.
The company adds that its servomotors and integrated (roller/ball) screws produce the highest dynamic response in a compact frame size. DSL 56 reportedly is ideal for automotive, handling, printing, or plastics applications. The repeating accuracy and control features of the DSL motors put conventional pneumatic motors in the shade. The reproducibility of the products shows a marked increase.
Onecycle of the welding process in accordance with the required force. Inaccuracies caused by compressible media can therefore be eliminated. The process is reproducible and offers high repeating accuracy.
The high dynamic response qualities of the DSL 56 pave the way for faster and more precise welding processes. The DSL 56 is available in two versions: the roller screw is used for high-force and high-speed applications. The less expensive ball screw, on the other hand, is ideal for simpler applications.
