The successful European electric automation show, SPS/IPC/Drives , makes its next presentation on Nov. 23-25 in Nuremberg, Germany—with record bookings in place for more than 1,000 exhibitors and display area of 64,500 sq meters (more than 694,000 sq ft). Electric drives and motion control technologies will comprise two of the seven halls in Nuremberg’s Exhibition Center, so there will be much to attract professionals working in these arenas.

Other coverage of this focused show includes controllers; industrial PCs; sensors; software; and fieldbus, networking, and communications technologies. Control Engineering will be on hand to cover SPS/IPC/Drives 2004 and report on show highlights in future E-newsletters and print issues.

By the way, a “daughter show” of this event—SPS Electric Automation America—is heading for an inaugural staging on May 24-26, 2005, in Rosemont, IL (a suburb of Chicago). Read Control Engineering ‘s Daily News for August 31, 2004 , for further details.
