Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.— Low cost, closed-loop Series 2900 stepper motor controllers perform automatic parameter adjustments. It sets acceleration and deceleration slopes minimizing ringing on motor stop. Modes of operation include point-to-point from absolute or relative commands and pulse following from step and direction outputs each in either closed loop with high speed and torque or open loop. Internal operating voltages, rated at 3A continuous at 48 V maximum, are supplied from motor voltage. The controllers can drive stepper motors from size 14 to 42 DS and are available in stand-alone enclosures or as a plug-in board. Magnon Engineering
