Specifically, they are designed to protect against surges that cause equipment damage, lockup, and malfunction that translates into expensive downtime, repair, and replacement costs. The drives feature a DIN-rail mountable base and pluggable MOV, GDT, or MOV/GDT modules with unique voltage keying designed to assure the correct plug is inserted into the correct base. The drives are also offered in 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-pole groupings as well as single, split, and wye three-phase. These products are UL Type 4 recognized and can be use in Type 1, 2 & 3 applications. They also feature a remote alarm contact with visual indicator for status monitoring in critical situations.
