686A Series two-wire electronic vibration switch is microprocessor controlled with no moving parts or mechanical adjustments required. It is said to combine the reliability and dynamics of an electronic switch with the convenience of a mechanical switch in a compact design. It includes a U.S. patent-pending magnetic adjustable vibration threshold that electronically adjusts the thresh-old value with the switch installed on running equipment through a magnetically activated sensor. Feature allows for immediate installation with no need for equipment shutdown. Device reportedly can be readily implemented to protect equipment such as pumps, motors, and fans without a complex setup.
