Raleigh, NC— To support complex embedded applications and provide familiar functionality, Vapid Software Inc.
Designed for embedded systems, Vapid Log includes embedded code and a host application for capture and analysis. It allows application developers to record access, debug, security, system and other events, which gives them greater visibility. Some of VapidLog’s other features include prioritized logging, multiprocessor support, multiple logs, non-blocking logging, and compile or runtime configuration.
‘In the past, companies were forced to develop this functionality internally, hindering the effective utilization of engineering resources,’ says Mike Hanna, Vapid’s ceo. ‘Vapid Log gives engineers and managers a viable alternative that includes superior features and functionality in a very cost competitive package.’
In coming months, Vapid adds that it plans to make Vapid Log ubiquitous throughout the embedded software industry by initiating a partner program; providing free software and support to qualified third-party embedded software companies; and introducing a support website.
Vapid Log is available now for Wind River’s vxWorks 5.4/5.5 and OSE System’s OSE 4.4. Vapid Software will be adding support for other operating systems in future releases.
