Wilcoxon releases cables for data collectors

Gaithersburg, MD— Wilcoxon Research has released its new MaxFlex cables that are compatible with data collectors made by SKF, Emerson’s CSI, and Rockwell Automation’s Entek IRD. Wilcoxon manufactures vibration sensors and accessories.

MaxFlex data collector cables are designed to exceed the harsh environmental requirements of industrial applications. Market research has shown that the chronic failure mode in data collector cables is the cable joint at the sensor connector end. MaxFlex cables are reinforced to solve this problem and have displayed significant improvement over competitive cables.

In addition, MaxFlex can perform at temperatures up to 120 °C; are completely sealed to function in high moisture environments; and have been tested to withstand pull strength of more than 100 pounds. MaxFlex data collector cables are available in standard lengths of 6, 10 and 16 feet, coiled or straight, and can be terminated with either a MIL-style or a BNC connector on the sensor end, and a DB25, Fischer, Lemo, or Bendix connector on the other end.
