World Batch Forum seeks papers for 2005 conference

Longwood, FL— World Batch Forum is seeking papers to be presented at its 2005 North American Conference, May 15-18, in Atlantic City, NJ.

‘We’re particularly interested in receiving submissions covering:

• Data integration using the ISA S95 standard and Business To Manufacturing Markup Language (B2MML);

• Continuous and discrete manufacturing using the S88 batch standard as well as S95; and

• Issues specifically related to pharmaceuticals manufacturing,’

says Harry Gianakis, WBF’s conference co-chair. ‘However, papers addressing any batch manufacturing issues will be considered, especially those that deal with leading-edge techniques and applications.’

Deadline for abstract submission is Oct. 31, 2004. All submissions should be e-mailed, in Microsoft Word’s .doc format, to Sylvia Heidemann, at sylvia@camco.biz , at WBF’s headquarters. Please note that all papers and presentations must be in English. The organization’s paper template for authors and abstract guidelines can be found in the WBF Library on the organization’s website at www.wbf.org . Links to abstracts from previous WBF conferences also are available the website.
