Yokogawa makes manufacturing execution move

Yokogawa group has turned its Yokogawa Marex plant information subsidiary in Cowes, U.K. into its global center-of-excellence for its new generation of manufacturing execution systems (MES) worldwide.

Yokogawa group has turned its Yokogawa Marex plant information subsidiary in Cowes, U.K. into its global center-of-excellence for its new generation of manufacturing execution systems (MES) worldwide.
Nigel Bowden, previously the operations director at Cowes, has been promoted to managing director, to drive this new direction for Yokogawa Marex. Nigel has been responsible for the development, delivery, and commissioning of global information systems for companies such as Shell, Chevron, Unilever, Cargill and Sabic.

Yokogawa offers a portfolio of integrated software solutions that reside in the MES domain, delivered through regional MES Centers of Expertise in Singapore, The Netherlands, and the U.S. Yokogawa Marex, operating as the Global MES Center, provides coordination and support for the regional MES centers while also delivering information system solutions for strategic Yokogawa “Total Solutions” project implementations.
