(24 x 45 x 11 mm). OJ sensors are available with either a visible light or a laser light source. Two configurations provide the lens on the 15/16 x 1-3/4 surface (face sensing) or on the 1-3/4 x 7/16 surface (side sensing). They have IP68 rating for protection in moist environments. In initial installation, pushbutton calibration allows the OJ to learn the signal characteristics of the target and background, then it automatically adjusts the range to provide maximum safety margin under both target “present” and “not present” conditions. OJ sensors, with visible red LED light sources, are available in thru-beam, polarized retroreflective, and diffuse-reflective models.
