How to contribute to CFE Media

Content for engineers—that’s what CFE Media stands for, and what CFE Media is all about—engineers sharing with their peers. We welcome content submissions for all interested parties in engineering. We will use those materials online, on our website, in print, and in e-newsletters to keep engineers informed about new products, solutions, and industry trends.

CFE Media publishes the Consulting-Specifying Engineer, Control Engineering, Plant Engineering, and Oil & Gas Engineering magazines, along with Applied Automation and IIoT for Engineers supplements.

Editorial submissions:

We review and accept full-length features, blogs, case studies, and multimedia content from quality sources. If you are interested in contributing, use our Topic Selection Form to view a detailed list of our content coverage areas. After the form is complete, a CFE Media content manager will contact you. Each contributor must adhere to our Author’s Agreement, and here is a link to our full contributor guidelines.

For articles, case studies, application stories, and tutorials, if you choose to name specific vendors and products, please do so in the captions and/or in a separate product sidebar story. Any technology references in the body of the article should be generic: a proximity sensor detects up to 70 bottles per second as they go by, a 43% improvement over prior technology.
