Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—Control Engineering Asia magazine garnered an Excellence Award at the inaugural Asian Publishing Management Awards for the “Most successful launch of a licensed brand.”

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Control Engineering Asia magazine garnered an Excellence Award at the inaugural Asian Publishing Management Awards for the “Most successful launch of a licensed brand.” Awards were given to publishers within Asia who implemented outstanding initiatives in 2006. The awards ceremony took place during the Gala Dinner and Awards Night of the Asia Pacific Publishing Convention to recognize best publishing practices in Asia in categories including editorial, circulation, design and layout, and use of multimedia by an advertiser.

Published by Reed Business Information Asia, Control Engineering Asia reaches 8,000 qualified subscribers across the region. It was launched in February 2006 as a licensed brand of Control Engineering (North America). The global network of Control Engineering print titles now reaches out to more than 150,000 readers worldwide, and is the only global branded automation magazine.
