PDM 360 smart HMI with graphic display from ifm efector is intended for system messages in mobile machines. The 2.5-in. integrated unit (128 x 64 pixels) can show text and visual elements. Twelve backlit function keys are available for data entry and handling. Sealed die cast-zinc housing is rated IP67 and can be surface or panel mounted outdoors or in vehicle cabins. PDM 360 has a CAN interface for data exchange with a connected controller. Visualization is created using CoDeSys software standardized on IEC 61131-3 programming. Communication with other system components in the machine is carried out via the CAN bus using the CANopen protocol; SAE J1939 protocol is also supported to read or visualize vehicle powertrain data.
