Q45H/64 dissolved ozone analyzer from Analytical Technology Inc. is designed for online monitoring and control of ozonation systems. Suitable for a wide range of applications—from the standard 0-2 ppm display range required by water bottling systems or municipal water treatment to high range ones of 0-20 or 0-200 ppm—the instrument can also measure DO3 concentrations as low as 0-200 ppb full scale to meet demanding applications, such as pharmaceutical grade water or semiconductor wash water.
Using a highly selective polarographic membraned sensor, the analyzer monitors dissolved ozone interference free. With no moving parts, the device requires little maintenance. Simple installation allows the equipment to be up and running in a few hours. Analyzer comes in three portable versions: loop powered, ac operated, or battery operated.
Loop powered transmitter operates from standard 24-V dc power supplies for ozone measurements only. It can be integrated easily with many DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems and includes a PID output function. AC powered systems feature PID control, relay, and dual output functions and are available with an optional pH sensor. Battery operated units with internal data logger are intended for short-term monitoring at remote sites or for process studies.
