Fremont, Calif. – Dolch , manufacturer of rugged industrial portable computers, will feature its new operator interface workstations for harsh environments at this year’s Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada June 11-13.
SafeTTouch displays and workstations are designed to Class I, Division 1 standards. Products feature EnhancedInfrared touch displays, a technology designed for safety in harsh and hazardous areas. These touch screens use a matrix of invisible light beams to detect operator input and maintain their calibration without drifting. It is operationally immune to cuts or wear of the touch surface, and the touch screen is covered by a five-year warranty.
