Process Control - Flowmeters: Fluxus XLF is Flexim's non-invasive metering system for the reliable measurement of extremely low flow rates down to 1 gal/h and below on line sizes ranging from ¼ to 1.5 in. independent of the pipe wall thickness. This is a Control Engineering 2016 Engineers’ Choice Honorable Mention.
Based on the non-intrusive advantage of the Fluxus meters, Flexim’s engineers worked on specific elements of the Fluxus hardware and system calibration to further improve upon its zero point stability. In pipes from ¼ to 1.5 in., regardless of wall thickness or the liquid pressure, the Fluxus XLF is able to measure 10 times lower flows than Flexim’s previous meters. Using a special low flow amplifier and a unique transducer mounting solution that allows for eight sound paths, the Fluxus XLF is able to achieve incredible results.
