As the first offering in the compact CNC product segment to have high-performance 5-axis interpolation capabilities, the IndraMotion MTX micro is the most economical way possible to start using CNC control.
IndraMotion MTX micro is quick to commission, featuring a large library of technology cycles and comprehensive programming tools, making it very easy to program even for complex processing tasks. Ideal for extremely fast, efficient and cost-effective turning, milling, drilling, grinding and gear cutting, the MTX micro is also extremely easy to operate.
Rexroth’s MTX micro CNC platform is compact and cost-effective, but offers a variety of benefits for the user. Having two CNC processing channels in one system for controlling processing and automation saves hardware costs and speeds up commissioning.
The MTX micro also offers the full scope of functionality required for small CNC machines, including extended capabilities for up to 12 axes (electric and hydraulic), of which up to four can be CNC spindles—easily connected using the Ethernet-based sercos automation bus with redundancy.
Beyond its local input/outputs (I/O), the ability to attach up to 10 peripheral devices such as I/O couplets, pneumatics and other sercos devices gives the MTX micro the most connectivity in this class. And, as part of the MTX micro offering, new ergonomic control panels are also available for vertical or horizontal use, as well as the ability to use PC-based HMIs connected via Ethernet.
In addition, the MTX micro series is IIoT and Industry 4.0 ready, featuring open standards and capabilities, such as an on-board OPC-UA data server.
