Greenwood, Ind . – Endress+Hauser recently introduced the Promag 23 two-wire electromagnetic flowmeter. Promag 23’s performance is said to be nearly equal to similar four-wire electromagnetic flowmeters but the two-wire design simplifies installation, especially in hazardous locations. Using microprocessor controlled energy management technology permits continuous measurement independent of flow velocity yet produces nearly the same performance, operation, and functionality of advanced four-wire electromagnetic flowmeters. Optimized sensors with perfluoroalkoxy copolymer resin (Teflon PFA) molded liners permit operating up to 355°F (180°C).
