XT line of IEC Power Control solutions for motor protection and control encompasses a variety of industrial control products for panel builders and OEMs, including contactors, starters, overload relays, manual motor protectors, and combination motor controls. Featuring open and packaged control options, the line is applicable worldwide with its global ratings, smaller product sizes for tight panel spaces, and ease of installation and maintenance.
XT reduces mounting and wiring time by allowing standard components to be combined without tools, quickly and error free. It offers UL, CSA, CE, and CCC approvals, as well as RoHS compliance. Four frame sizes cover contactor ratings up to 150 A, making it easier to lay out panels. ECX, the enclosed offering, has a back panel sized for metallic or non-metallic enclosures.
Products are available in a wide range of control voltages—12-600 V ac and 12-220 V dc— to meet many requirements. Installation and maintenance are simplified by DIN rail mounting for devices up to 65 A, reversing and star-delta (wye-delta) wiring link kits, and modular combination motor controllers.
XT meets stringent user and environmental safety requirements. IP20-rated terminals are finger and back-of-hand proof. Contactors up to 400 A feature box terminals with dual terminal chambers to form a better connection and lower the possibility of flash.
Included in XT line are XTPB pushbutton (up to 25 A) and XTPR rotary (up to 63 A) actuated Manual Motor Protectors, accessories, and enclosures; contactors and starters for applications from 7-2,000 A; and manual/combination motor controllers (MMC and CMC). Rated to both IEC and UL standards, MMC and CMC are available as open non-reversing or reversing devices.
