Mountain’s MES software, Proficy for Manufacturing, optimizes plant equipment assets, ensures quality by capturing product genealogy data, and delivers the basis for continuous improvement of production capabilities. Mountain created Proficy to complement data collection technology for tracking time-based information with an event historian, which allows users to track relational information and manufacturing events. Proficy’s applications include quality, efficiency and production management, as well as product genealogy. These applications are configurable software packages designed to allow rapid return on automation and technology investments.
