Good attitude sparks success

I just read your "Career Update" article in the November 1998 Control Engineering (p. 21) over the holidays. Bravo!!! So rarely do magazines in our industry discuss the "A" word—Attitude. Success, whether it's building a career or a company, directly correlates to the attitude and passion one puts into it.

I just read your “Career Update” article in the November 1998 Control Engineering (p. 21) over the holidays. Bravo!!! So rarely do magazines in our industry discuss the “A” word—Attitude. Success, whether it’s building a career or a company, directly correlates to the attitude and passion one puts into it. We’ve all seen great ideas and products fail, and mediocre ideas and products succeed. All hinged on the attitude and passion of the people behind it. It’s great to see one of the leading magazines in our industry cover more than products, technology, and news—and remind us that success depends on our mental, as well as our technical, mind set.
