High-temperature sensors

High temperature sensors from Turck operate at up to 250 °C (482 °F) and claim to provide the longest sensing range for their type in the industry.

High temperature sensors from Turck operate at up to 250 °C (482 °F) and claim to provide the longest sensing range for their type in the industry. Devices feature a separate sensing head assembly and electronic amplifier assembly to facilitate installation and maintenance. Models CQ40 and CQ80 incorporate a sensing head separate from the electronic amplifier assembly so that when the unit needs replacement, only the sensing head exposed to the high temperature environment needs to be replaced. The sensors are suited for use in extremely high temperatures and heat intensive operations, such as in drying and curing ovens in automotive painting systems, food and beverage, and metal processing applications. They are interconnected with standard M12 eurofast quick-disconnects using Teflon cables encased by an aluminum sleeve to prevent contamination.
