Higher power motor costs less

Templeton, Calif. —SilverMax HS broadens the line of SilverMax intelligent servo motors. It runs at 48 V in a NEMA size 23 today with NEMA size 34 coming. Simplifying the design process, SilverMax motors include encoder, digital servo amp, digital driver, on-board in-dexer, on-board local power supply, and serial communications interface.

Simplifying the design process, SilverMax motors include encoder, digital servo amp, digital driver, on-board in-dexer, on-board local power supply, and serial communications interface. All this is integrated into a single motor form factor that has stepper motor structure. The high-performance DSP chip provides 32-bit calculations for closed-loop control. The five models range in performance from 50 to 240 oz-in. Microsoft Windows-based QuickControl enables users to prototype and develop control commands. Quicksilver Controls Inc.
