HMIs with built-in LabView environment

Line of HMIs from National Instruments includes FPT-1015 flat-panel touchscreen, TPC-2006 touch panel computer, and PPC-2015 panel PC.

Flat-panel touchscreen, touch panel computer, and panel PC HMIs from National Instruments come with LabView graphical development environment to develop user interfaces. Interface development environment offers royalty-free deployment for the interfaces with LabView Application Builder; each touch panel interface includes a LabView PDA module deployment license. LabView also targets a range of distributed programmable automation controller (PAC) products, including high-performance PC-based I/O devices with PXI or industrial PCs, distributed I/O products with Compact FieldPoint, FPGA-based high-speed I/O devices with CompactRIO, and distributed vision systems with the Compact Vision System.

FPT-1015 15-in. flat panel includes a color, LCD resistive touchscreen and connects through a standard VGA port and USB. Its large display area suits PXI test applications with any embedded PXI controller or machine vision application using NI CVS-145x systems.

TPC-2006 touch-panel computer for embedded or machine control has a 5.7-in. LCD and resistive touchscreen running Microsoft Windows CE .Net that can be programmed with the LabView PDA module. It has low power consumption, a 266 MHz Intel ARM9 processor, no rotating media, and NEMA 4/IP65 ratings.

PPC-2015 15-in. color panel PC with resistive touchscreen and a 2.0 GHz Pentium-4 processor runs Windows XP and has a 40-GB hard drive. It connects through Ethernet, USB, two PCMCIA ports, and two half-length PCI slots. System provides a fully functional HMI for NI PAC hardware through an Ethernet port and offers five USB ports and two PCI slots for connectivity to a broad range of NI hardware. Two PCI slots allow integration with motion or vision cards. It is suited especially for PAC hardware platform machine control.
