Newton, Mass. -The Norcross In-Line pH Sensor is designed to be placed directly in a fluid line. Its patented sensor technology is intended for use in the water-based printing or coating, and the corrugated paper industry. The sensor features a flat tip pH probe. As the fluid flows through the sensor, the end of the pH probe is scrubbed and the pH measured. Output is 4-20 mA dc. The sensor features a built-in reservoir or ‘pool’ ensuring the pH probe remains wetted during down time. Previously in-line sensors in the paper, coatings, or corrugated paper industries would fail as a result of probes becoming crusted with dried inks and coating materials.
