A new series of compact, long-life industrial PC (IPC) systems with mini-ITX form factor (11 x 10.5 x 2.6 in.) has been introduced by Saelig Co. Inc. Impact-R 150 Series PCs consists of five models, offering a wide range of processing and I/O options. The versatile PCs are said to be usable as a desktop or benchtop—or even wall-mounted for more secure applications. A 2U rack-mount kit is available to secure the IPCs in cabinets or wall boxes.
Long-life motherboards with extensive burn-in testing are part of Impact-R 150 PC’s special design for harsh environments. CPU options range from 1 to 2.8 GHz processor performance. Features include two front USB 2.0 ports, PCI expansion slot (32-bit, 33 MHz), dual PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet versions, 40 GB storage (2 MB cache), and a three-year warranty. Rear I/O ports include four USB 2.0, 1/2 RJ45 LAN, three DB9 serial, DB15 VGA, PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, line-out, line-in, and mic-in.
