Cary, N.C. -JMP version 4’s approach to Design of Experiments is to allow users to describe their engineering problem using factors, interactions, budget constraints, and goals and let JMP construct a tailored design in the fewest runs. Statistical support has been expanded to include methods and diagnostic tools for evaluating time series data, restricted maximum likelihood methods for mixed models and more. JMP 4 also incorporates a new Taguchi Arrays platform for constructing inner and outer arrays as well as calculating signal to noise ratios. JMP’s results are simultaneously displayed in tables and pictures.
