Irvine, Calif. -This system allows integration of temperature, analytical, pressure, flow, and level sensors with programmable controller/valve combination. Type 8630/31 Top Control Head permits decentralized intelligent process control. It interfaces with Burkert’s complete line of 1/2- to 2-in. angle globe, 1/4-turn ball, and diaphragm valves. It has seven built-in flow characteristics: three fast opening, one linear, and three equal percentage. The unit allows setpoint adjustment at the valve or via standard analog input signals. Sensor inputs include RTD, 4-20 mA, and frequency. Interfaces include AS-interface, Multipin, Cable Gland, Profibus, and DeviceNet.
