Seminars, workshops, and tutorials are all on the agenda for the upcoming Measurement Science Conference scheduled for Jan. 17-21, 2005, in Anaheim, CA. Focus of the conference is addressing change and will include a slate of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seminars and a series of tutorial workshops. An exhibit will accompany the conference. The 2005 event marks the conference’s 35 anniversary.
Topics of the NIST seminars include:

Experiment design for calibration and interlaboratory studies;

Mass measurement;

Estimating and reporting measurement uncertainty;

NIST flow seminar; and
-
Time and frequency: measurement and applications.
Follow-up tutorials will cover mass measurement, laboratory accreditation, and measurement uncertainty, among other subjects. The last two days of the conference will feature five distinct tracks in which papers and presentations on an assortment of measurement science related topics will be presented.
