Designed for developers of embedded applications, the free kit demonstrates several key packages and technologies included in MontaVista Linux Professional Edition.
The kit provides a full Linux kernel running on several reference platforms and includes the same development environment as the full product. Developers can explore the building and debugging process without the necessity of buying the full development package first. This reduces overall evaluation time.
The Preview Kit can be downloaded immediately from MontaVista Software’s Web site at https://www.mvista.com/previewkit/index.html . It is available at no charge.
