AutomationDirect has added Murrelektronik 7/8 in – 16 UN2 mini cables which a 4-wire, 4-pole configuration that allows power and control signals to be transmitted through a single connector, reducing wiring complexity. These mini connector cables include power connectors for I/O modules and field devices and are UL-listed for industrial control and signal applications.
Each connector is tested during manufacturing to verify performance and reliability. They are available in several configurations, including axial, right-angle and connector-to-pigtail versions. A selection of 7/8 in – 16 UN2 mini field-wireable connectors for cable diameters of 6–8 mm is also available. When properly connected, they meet the IP67 standard for dust and water protection. The 4-pin layout allows straightforward field assembly and supports the transmission of signals and power for adaptable installation options.
