Weidmuller USA has introduced the Weidmuller DURAmax DC UPS, a 24V uninterruptible power supply for industrial control applications. This unit supplies PLCs, sensors and other 24V devicesand switches to battery operation when the mains power supply is interrupted. This function can help reduce downtime caused by power interruptions.
The DURAmax family has a compact design for installation in space-constrained control cabinets. The DURAmax DC UPS Manager software allows users to configure the DC UPS and the battery modules through a USB C interface.
The DURAmax family is compatible with Weidmuller 24 VDC PRO ECO II, PRO MAX and PRO TOP power supplies as well as DURA ECO battery modules. Together, these components form a power backup system for automation equipment.
