Altech Corporation, a provider of industrial automation solutions, has expanded Altech DIN rail mounted electronic enclosures. The range includes various models designed to house electrical, electronic and electromechanical devices.
Altech DIN enclosures are designed to house devices such as relays, sensing and monitoring devices, timers, transducers and printed circuit boards. The units use flame-retardant, maintenance-free materials that support long service life and safe operation of control devices. They are available with options for customization in multiple sizes, designs, cover styles, terminal-to-board connections and mounting configurations.
Altech additional configuration options, including hole cutting and terminal marking to aid identification and field wiring. For OEM quantities, the company can mold enclosures in specified colors and configurations, or supply them with printed or laser markings.
Key DIN enclosure product series include:
- KS4400 Series: The units have a half-shell design that supports efficient space use. They offer three levels of fixed and pluggable PCB terminal options for high-density connections.
- KV4600 Series: These modular DIN enclosures use push-in terminal technology, support up to two circuit boards and allow configuration with optional bus systems and front plates to suit various automation applications.
- KO4700 Series: This enclosure series is available in a range of sizes with single and double-level terminal configurations for various applications. Models come with 8 to 132 terminals and a selection of cover designs.
- K70 Series: These small- to medium-sized DIN enclosures (8 to 32 terminals) include integral pressure plate terminals for secure connections and offer fixed or pluggable terminal-to- board options.
- KU4000 Series: This series provides internal space for PCBs and electronic components, with double-level snap-in terminals (pressure plate or spring cage designs) designed for secure, vibration- resistant connections.
- KU4100 Series: The design is available in six widths with double-level terminal locations and options including blank enclosures and fixed or pluggable PCB terminals.
- KO4300 Series: This series features a compact design with double- level terminals that provide space efficiency and secure connections resistant to vibration. Units are available with 16 to 64 terminals in multiple widths.
- KO4070 Series: This series is designed for I/O circuits, relays, timers and other small control devices. Units are available in three widths with single and multi-level, machine solderable box clamp terminals in 4 to 16 pole configurations.
