Though its couplings are threadless and, consequently, screwless, Pulse Net provides tactile and audible indications of positive mating. The exterior of the connectors can also be used to accommodate fiberoptic, coaxial, pin-and-socket, as well as RJ-45 methodologies. A one-piece M12 adapter is available, to convert a screw-in M12 connection to a pin-and-socket M12 with Pulse Net .
