Robotics modules enable integration of kinematics into an automation system and other motion functions quickly and reliably. Lenze offers technology modules for pick and place applications and the corresponding coordinate transformation software. A robotics core offers six degrees of freedom for easier path planning (using PLCopen Part 4), allowing parameterization without knowledge of robotics. A gantry robot can be commissioned in less than 10 minutes, the company said.
