London – Siemens A&D’s 300-metre long mobile trade show on rails had its March debut in Prague and will continue its journey over the next two years to 70 European cities and 21 cities in China according to Peter Miodek, head of Siemens A&D Group Communication.
“We want to take our show out to the customers and join them on a trip through the world of modern industrial automation, drive, switching, and installation technology,” he explained. The show focuses on specific industry sectors, for example machines, automobiles, and pharmaceutical and fine chemicals.
The train will stop mainly at major cosmopolitan train stations like Leipzig, Budapest, Antwerp, Madrid, and Beijing. “Train stations provide a fascinating environment, they are milestones of architecture and – just as importantly – are always centrally located,” said Mr. Miodek.
