San Jose, Calif.—Two new versions of the Mighty Mite single-board computer (SBC) are now available. According to its developer, the new device offers embedded system users a networked Pentium SBC with up to 100% more performance than the previous 133 MHz Pentium line. New 166 and 200 MHz systems feature the low-power mobile Intel Pentium processor with MMX technology and support up to 128 MB of DRAM. The entire SBC measures 4 × 5.75 in. and fits in the footprint of a 3.5-in. hard-disk drive. The system requires a 5 V and 12 V power supply for PC/104 compatibility. Non PC/104 configurations need only a single 5 V supply. Cell Computing
