Anotherm substrate, thermally conductive aluminum alloy material lets design engineers mount visible LEDs and other components directly to it, eliminating the need for attached heat sinks, mounting hardware, and associated assembly costs. Solderable thick-film conductors can be screen-printed directly to the substrate to connect surface mount packaged components and wire-bonded die. Anotherm aluminum PC boards allow high-power LEDs to be mounted directly to a heat-conducting substrate so that the heat produced by the LED is conducted away from the circuitry.
