The newest Wago products with 100kA SCCR: 862 and 264 and Series Chassis-Mount Blocks, 826 and 828 Series Through-Panel Blocks, 831 Series Multi Connector System Pluggable Connector and X-ComS Pluggable Connector System.
Stemming from changes enacted by the National Electric Code, SCCR is represented by UL508A. SCCR ensures proper documentation of the maximum short circuit current a component, assembly or equipment can safely withstand when protected by a specific overcurrent protective device. For instance, a control cabinet’s SCCR is the same as that of a component, in the cabinet’s electrical distribution path, with the lowest SCCR.
