Turbine flowmeter offers low-cost solution

Series 380 and 735 flowmeters from Badger for metal and plastic-pipe applications.

Badger Meter
has introduced two new impeller flowmeters that offer accuracy and reliability for low-cost applications with metal and plastic piping.

The Series 380 line provides an all-in-one energy measurement solution for HVAC contractors and energy engineer specifiers. It provides a standard pulse output via an RS-485 connection (BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU) for compatibility with building management systems and Badger’s data acquisition products. Available in

The Series 735 is a plastic tee-type, non-magnetic impeller flow sensor, suited to low-cost, small pipe size applications. The Series 735 provides an accurate reading of the rate of liquid flow, and uses an internal preamplifier that allows the pulse signal to travel up to 2,000 ft. without further amplification.
