Honeywell Industrial Control recently signed a 10-year, $250-million agreement with Chevron and a $117-million deal with Syncrude Canada Ltd.

Using its ManageAbility program, Honeywell will provide Chevron and Syncrude with hardware, expertise, and on-going process performance monitoring, and will get paid based on the implemented systems’ ability to meet predefined, customized productivity improvements and cost-reduction requirements. ManageAbility agreements can include instrumentation, hardware, software, onsite and remote engineering and maintenance support, online system performance monitoring, and training courses.
