Model 5100-02-IT catalytic bead combustible gas sensor from Sierra Monitor has an FM-approved long-term (6-month) calibration cycle. Unit is said to offer the advantage of long-term calibration characteristic of an IR sensor and cost effectiveness and broad detection range of a catalytic bead sensor. Device continuously monitors combustible gases that can build up in enclosed areas of oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities or released during the digestion operation in a wastewater treatment facility. Sensor uses a 4-20 mA, Modbus RS-485, or proprietary Sierra Monitor Sentry bus interface. www.sierramonitor.com Sierra Monitor Corp.
