Hayward Flow Control’s HRS series quarter turn electric actuator family is designed to provides efficient multiplication of motor power to produce compact torque ranges. Larger models feature an epicyclic transmission system. A clutch-free manual override system provides full-time override capabilities during powered or un-powered events. Additional features include interchangeable ISO 5211 mounting and drive shafts, three-position control, passive analog feedback, torque switches, three-phase motor control center, and an IP68 submersible rating. Typical applications or installations include but are not limited to wastewater and water treatment, chemical transfer and processing, aquatic and animal life support systems, mining and mineral processing, HVAC, pulp and paper, food & beverage, marine, and other demanding environments.
