Process Sensors Corporation's PSC-SSS-Laser-3M-Video and companion software is suited for non-contact temperature measurement of metals and is designed for applications such as induction heating, forging, casting, and medical/aerospace applications that iProcess Sensors Corporation’s PSC-SSS-Laser-3M-Video and companion software allow storage and instant integration of actual images into software graphs that are easily retrieved for later evaluation. The PSC-SSS-Laser-3M-Video features five distinct temperature ranges that stretch from low to high and span from 50 to 1,800 C (122 to 3272 F) using a short wavelength of a 2.3 μm spectral response. Parallel use of the real time video and dual laser sighting feature allows for easy alignment and exact pinpointing of the measured target. The short wave length minimizes the effects of emissivity caused by semi/shiny target materials.

The sensor is suited for non-contact temperature measurement of metals and is designed for applications such as induction heating, forging, casting, and medical /aerospace applications that involve metal heating processing. It has adjustable manual focus optics from 200mm to infinity, close focus optics from 90 mm to 25 0mm, and video and crosshair sighting for pinpointing targets as small as 0.020 (0.5 mm) as well as a response time from 1 ms.
