Non-contact photoelectric level sensors

Compact point-level units mount directly to transparent standpipes, requiring no penetration.

Baumer has introduced its FFDK 16 photoelectric point-level sensor family for applications in laboratory automation, medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging, beverage processing, and other industries. The compact sensors are designed to be mounted onto transparent or half-transparent standpipes from 3 to 13 mm (.120 to .520 in.) in diameter.

Baumer says these non-contact sensors are easy to mount and feature integrated electronics that require no adjustments to be made after the initial installation. The arrangement of the sensor fibers in rows gives it the ability to differentiate between foam, bubbles up to 3mm in diameter, and actual liquid.
