Photoelectric family for small applications

Photoelectric family from Balluff is designed for small parts conveying equipment to help designers reduce a machine’s overall footprint on the factory floor. The family, called BOS 11K, includes diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized retro-reflective, and thru-beam styles within a compact 34.5 x 29.3 x 15 mm T-style housing. It can be used with the company’s BMS mounting system to be positioned at almost any angle in tight locations for flexible packaging, tabletop, and general conveyor applications. According to the company, its threaded T-body “snout-mount” shape allows for rapid installation and its ultrasonically welded IP67 housing features enhanced diagnostic LEDs and a highly visible 360° LED window for troubleshooting.
