Tyco’s electronics division to layoff 6,000

Pembroke, Bermuda - Tyco International Ltd. revealed Nov. 15 that it is cutting approximately 6,000 jobs in its electronics division, or about 8% of the division's almost 79,000 employees.

Pembroke, Bermuda – Tyco International Ltd. revealed Nov. 15 that it is cutting approximately 6,000 jobs in its electronics division, or about 8% of the division’s almost 79,000 employees.

Some of the jobs have already been eliminated over the past four months. The rest are expected to occur during the next five months, according to Juergen Gromer, the electronics division’s president.
