Omega's Engineering D8000 series USB interface of data acquisition modules are designed for process monitoring and control and data logging applications and have process signals such as thermocouples, current loops, and discrete contact closures. They communicate using a virtual serial communications port with Modbus RTU protocol. Input modules measure process signals such as thermocouples, 4 to 20 mA current loops, and discrete contact closures. Output modules generate analog voltage or current signals for process control. The D8000 series includes up to 25 conversions per second, 500 Vrms analog input or analog output insolation, continuous self-calibration, and 16-bit programmable analog input digital filters. Other features include 10 to 30 V dc unregulated supply and removable screw terminal plug connectors. This product is designed for chemical/petrochemical, water/wastewater, automotive industries for process monitoring and control, data logging, and product testing.
