An online roundtable discussion, “Ethernet and Industrial Networks,” will be moderated by Mark Hoske, Control Engineering ‘s editor-in-chief. Participants will include Michael Bryant, executive director, Profibus Trade Organization; David Glanzer, director of technology development, Fieldbus Foundation; and Frank Wood, executive director, ControlNet International.
Another event will be an interview with W. James McNerney Jr., 3M’s ceo, by Dave Harrold, Control Engineering ‘s senior editor. They will discuss acquisitions, lean manufacturing, e-productivity, Six Sigma, and customer satisfaction.
